We had a good experience at The Settlement Historic Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. Great location and rooms were comfortable. The rooms are old but it has a nice vibe to it. The owners of the settlement are beautiful people, extremely warm and friendly and their dog is the sweetest. I love how it feels like staying with family, when the owners are close by and always willing to have a chat, and their dog always happy for a pat. We had a great time, we love Echuca and love how everything is walking distance.

My husband and I stayed in a unit with grab bars by the toilet and in the shower, which was easily accessible. It had a fridge in the bathroom so the noise could be closed off by a door. The microwave was useful. The hotel is quite close to the CBD and has interesting historical info boards on exterior walls. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

We choose the Settlement Historic Hotel because it allowed dogs to stay, which was a huge bonus. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Our room was on the corner adjacent to the pool and the main road. It was a super quiet night so we could hear the traffic light beeping sound, but thankfully not much other noise. The location is excellent. We walked into the main hub for wharf activities, pubs, dinner and drinks. Shower/bathroom is a little dated, but it does the job. The heater was excellent, as was the electric blanket!

Room was very clean , location was good close to middle of old part of Echuca easy walking distance, close to food shops etc. Rooms were very quiet being solid brick. Excellent temperature and pressure in shower. Tea and coffee making provided as well as plates, cutlery and a toaster.

Easy to find. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment that was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The balcony overlooked a park - a pleasant view. Room service was available. The food was very tasty, delivered promptly and reasonably priced. Parking was free and easy.

A friendly staff member was on hand to welcome me when I checked in. The room was clean, aircon excellent given the humid conditions on the days I stayed in Echuca, the bed was comfortable, lots of hot water and parking just out side my room. The Settlement is in an excellent location walking distant to the historic port and the wonderful shops in High St. A very good price given it was the height of the tourist season.

The room was clean and tidy although the light shade in the bathroom could have been cleaned as full of bugs and old tubes of shower gel etc had not been removed as on top of the tile ledge. Possibly not seen by the cleaning staff The location was great, easy to find and walking distance to town for shops and eateries

Our morning pats with Tilly made our day! My kids were talking about her even when we were out for the day! Tilly’s owners were also lovely! Walking distance to most things

Such a lovely hotel for an overnight stay. Always friendly and having a dog friendly room makes traveling so much easier. A nice stroll down to the river and plenty of restaurant options close by. Quiet at night and comfy bed! My go to stop for road trips..
